VW Golf 1.6 FSi BLF 2005 - Judding under load - Fixed #

Engine Size and Code *: BLF, no code
( Optional ) Scanner Used: KTS/VCDS
( Optional) Fault Codes: None

Hi All,

VW Golf, 1.6 FSI, 50,000 miles

Engine Judders under load, if driven hard/high revs it drives ok, driven in slightly to higher gear under throttle that's when the judder happens.

Checked High pressure reading in live data.

No fault codes, any common problems?

Unsure, but I would imagine standard 95, whys that?

Hello Jason,
Long shot but I've had one of these where two engine mounting bolts on the right hand side (engine pulley side) had sheared and only one was left hanging there for all its life

Possibly gearbox fault

Diff pinion rivets fail causing vibration under load.

Came back for further checks, spark plugs cured the problem.
