Vauxhall Meriva (B) 1.4 2010 - Service reset #

Year of Manufacture *: 2010
Engine Size and Code *: 1.4

Anyone know the service reset procedure for this Meriva? AD shows a menu system on the stalk but this doesn't have any buttons on the stalk, phoned AD help line and have gone through pressing the trip button while holding down the brake pedal ign off then on etc. Should say the service fault code (Code 63) has come back on three months 4000 miles after servicing the vehicle!

Sorry folks its actually Code 82 = oil and filter change required. Did global scan no fault codes found.

I always reset these through scantool, vauxcom is good, snappy can do these, Autocom can but bizarrely needs the security code.

Had too many issues with reset via dash.

That will be why then, not got dealer access for GM brands so did not know or realise that.

Just pondering why do or how most aftermarket tools perform a reset without the security code?

The same way Vaux-com does not need security clearance for programming but Tech II does

Can't find any service reset on Autocom, do you go through the instruments?

Did a 2010 one of these today

Menu button on left stalk, click along until it calls up reset, then hold in the button on the end of the stalk and press brake pedal, then changes to 100% (reset)

Solus Ultra only gives manual reset description

Did a 2013 Adam the same a few weeks back, warning has not come back

My Meriva was a 1.7, replaced fuel filter under vehicle by tank. TIP: remove complete filter housing to change filter, plug pipes and turn upside down and remove bleed screw and fill filter with diesel, and refit. Make sure battery is well charged and crank a few times and it runs

Do not just change filter in sit-you IT WILL NOT RUN

Usually there is a icon for SLR but if its not there then the function is not available but check functions in instrument.

If your Meriva doesn't have the menu option on the stalk, you can do the same function using the trip reset on the right hand side of the instrument cluster. Nothing listed on Vaux-com or KTS! You don't need the brake pedal dance like the earlier models.

My KTS gives a 'Reset engine oil service life' in 'service tasks', although I have'nt used it myself.

On a 2012 Zafira, the KTS did not require security code but Delphi 150 did for SLR.
