Are you people aware petrol DPF,s are about to appear on cars in UK?,
Called GPF , gasoline particulate filter, the new versions of small , high performance, high power powerplants are dirty, produce too many carcinogenic soot particles, like diesels,due to their stratified operating modes, economy has consequences, looks like it will be these !!

I've noticed that a lot of new petrol engines are now requiring high grade low ash oil & not allowing lower grade alternatives.
Heard on the grapevine that there is 40% EGR openings coming. Boffins must have made it achievable in the lab. Begs the question how does it work in the real world of old biddies just running a few hundred yards to the shop for a tin of pussy food.
