Hi Gents, Have this Alfa Romeo Mito which was suffering a missfire problem on no 2 cyl, turned out to be the multair/uniair unit which we replaced and the missfire was cured, car is running fine except for a flashing MIL. Launch has a function for replacing the Multiair unit but is failing to remove the Fault code. This faultcode was logged originally before we started any work, any one know of any issues or something I missed?
Thanks for looking. Mark

Hi mark, Have you tried a crank sensor reset? Warm it up then rev it to speed limiting 3 times. Regards Steve Harvey

Hi Steve, no I haven't. Don't know why it should need that as we haven't removed the T/belt but who knows! Will give it a go. Launch also has a facility for the crank sensor reset as well, I'll give that a try first as the car gone over the mileage for the timing belt replacement and I don't fancy revving the bo****ks of it un till he has replaced it. Many Thanks.
Mark

No joy with this one so far, recommended that the timing belt be changed so that we can rev the engine to governed speed and see what happens!
