Hi Had this one in before christmas and tried communicating with the engine ECU for non start, original fault was cutting out after short journey but eventually became non runner. When connected I could only read the ECU id, no fault codes could be read and all the data was question marks. ECU sent for test and no fault found. Refitted ECU today and same problem as before - unale to read fault codes, no data. Tried KTS in case planet having problems but exactly the same result. Checked lives earths and various wiring. Fuel pump circuit energises when cranking, there is a single pulse to injectors and coil when you first crank it, constant live to both when cranking. Checked crankshaft position sensot with scope, load tested various wires and still same fault. Any help greatlt received. Thank you in advance.

This fault is ringing a bell but cant remember exact details, remember finding a broken wire in a loom that dips down in front of/ near gear box. will add more if a can remember
A Global scan may be worth while. Immobilizer OK ? Double check / load test all powers / grounds on ECU and relay.
