Year of Manufacture *: 2007 Engine Size and Code *: 1.6 16v N12B16A ( Optional ) ECU Type: ( Optional ) Scanner Used: solus ultra ( Optional) Fault Codes: 2B68/2A35/2AC2/2AC3
can drive the car all week with no problems, then out of the blue whilst driving, the car loses acceleration when the pedal is pressed, this goes on for may be ten seconds and then it resumes as normal. The engine does not run uneven when this happens but reduces in power. The vehicle does a lot of motorway drivingand has become very dangerous. When code read it listed , 2a35oxygen sensor before cat dynamics. 2ac2oxygen sensor before cat plausibility 2ac3oxygen sensor before cat plausibility 2b68air flow plausibility.
Can road test the vehicle,no codes reapear until it faults again.
checked the oil level ,that is ok . Replaced the map sensor for new one ,bosch. Tested the wirig back to the ecu, it checked ok. With the engine having variable valve timing is it possible that there could be something wrong with the valve gear set upand if so is there a way of checking it with a scan tool or scope?
Texa do an 'OBD' log, which would probably be perfect to find this sort of problem. You program in what live data you want it to monitor, plug into the obd socket and off they go until the fault returns.
