Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 A10XEP 2014 - Crank vs Cam waveform required #

Year of Manufacture: 2014
Engine Size and Code: 1000cc A10XEP

Would anyone please have a ckp vs cmp waveform for the above car.

I have one in logging a crank/cam correlation code. I'm not sure if its incorrect or not but the car is gutless as if its fuel starvation or blocked exhaust.

I know its had two timing chain kits fitted (aftermarket then a genuine) plus a new crank sensor. Still has same fault according to trade customer.

Hi Lee,
Did this have the fault before the chains were changed? Did they use the correct timing tols?

I think this was the reason the chain was changed. Apparently it was noisey and not running right.

I don't know what tools were used as the trader is economical with the truth. I asked him if he used tools and he said if course

I think maybe it's the camshaft sensor pickup piece incorrectly set

I think I may have been wrong to assume timing was mechanically correct. I borrowed the correct tools and checked to find it was out by a tooth or maybe 2.

Although it still doesn't run correct and haven't checked for returning codes I am happy the timing is now corrected.

attached are the new waveforms but I cannot be certain they are known good yet.

looking at the waveform i suspect that the exhaust is restricted

at 360 degrees there should be intake vaccum starting but the pressure remains the same

It does sound like an exhaust blockage or severely retarded timing.

Thing is now it bellows out oil smoke.

If it was a restricted exhaust I'd think the section around 180degrees to be high pressure as this is the exhaust stroke afaik.

I can remove lambda easy enough
