Good morning all. It's a wee bit nippy here this morning and a beautiful bright day. We're supposed to say pretty chilly for a few days but then back into the 60's. I was hoping it would stay cool at least until Thanksgiving but I don't think that's going to happen. I still have to go food shopping. Thinking about making my mom's cranberry salad this year even though I'm probably the only one who will eat it. It's such a pretty, colorful dish to set on the table. And squash casserole always looks good on the table but I'm the only one who eats that. My daughter already said don't bother with the sweet potato soufflé because nobody eats that. All they like is turkey, potatoes and pie. I raised a boring culinary crowd. What's your favorite treat that you usually only see on Thanksgiving? I need some ideas for some sides that won't bring an upturned nose. Well, yawl have a blessed Wednesday if that's what it is. Make sure you put on a sweater if you go outside.
