Saw Dr. Doty (arm surgeon) today for 1st follow-up.
He says things look stable, of course that means with the brace on my arm.
That will be for about 6 weeks, while the antibiotics work to (hopefully) clear the infection.
My bone won't even begin to heal until that is gone, and shows no signs of returning for 2 weeks, then we will discuss the next phase surgery. Dr. Doty is hopeful that with no infection, and with plates and a bone grafts from my hip, we have at least a 95% chance of the arm being almost back to normal in time.
