CL, my aunt had a bedside potty and you could slide out the potty, set the entire chair over the commode after lifting the commode seat, she then had the height she needed, had her arm rest and no embarrassed aunt.❤️ everything goes right in the commode. If they have just 1 bathroom, lift chair off commode when someone needs the bathroom or it can be left on. It was a blessing for her. 😃
