Re: good morning,
Good morning all. I love junk mail. I enjoy browsing through it and know that as long as they keep sending that stuff Stan will get his retirement check. Keep those cards and letters coming, folks. I might be going to Belks today to look for some new spring clothes. I had put it off and put it off because I thought I would lose weight and be able to get smaller clothes but that plan hasn't quite worked out for me too well and all my clothes are looking ragged and funny. So I need to get at least a few new things for the warmer weather on the way but in the same old size. Bah humbug. Too much youtube watching and not enough physical activity I suppose. Might have something to do with pizza and pasta, too. I'll be doing a fruit bowl for the meal I fix for the Lion's Club so I hope I can find a watermelon from somewhere to add to it. I usually toss in some cantaloupe, watermelon, blue berries and strawberries. And then it's either bananas or pineapples but not both, I think. I forget. I know some of them don't mix too well so I'll have to check the internet on that again. AV or CL, you got any ideas about what can and can't go together? CL, hope your arms is healing well. I was thinking of selling our Troy Bilt tiller since we don't do any gardening anymore and then I got to thinking that one day we might not have a choice about gardening so I better hold on to it. Never know. All that rain California is getting is a good excuse for them to drive up the cost of our fruits and veggies. Last year it was fire. This years it's the flood. There's an old hymn about that that goes, "Some through the fire, some through the flood, some through great sorrow but all through the blood." Oh yeah, God Leads His Dear Children Along. Haven't heard that sung in a long time but my dad could sure belt it out with his loud Irish voice. Yawl have a blessed day now, hear.
