Road Rage Incident

Okay, so the woman in our church who got caught in the crossfire during a road rage incident is going to be okay from the last report I received. But now some more facts are coming out. Okay, a guy in a Mustang who had his 2-year-old daughter strapped in the backseat apparently "brake-tested" the guy behind him who was following too closely. Now I have been known to do the same - either tap my breaks as a reminder to that driver to get off my bumper or I slow down just to annoy him even more. Apparently that is what the guy in the Mustang did. The guy in the Blazer didn't like it so he rode up a little closer on the guy's bumper and gave him the bird. Now I'd be getting angry about that, too. Not angry enough to shoot anyone, but I would be annoyed. Anyways, that is when the guy in the Mustang started shooting and poor Mrs. Paula Blackwell was nearby and one of the shots penetrated her vehicle and lodged in her kidney. I can almost understand road rage when someone is riding your bumper. There is no reason for anyone to do that. Just go around the person who is going too slowly in your opinion. Don't ride their bumper. Anyways, the guy in the Blazer got shot twice, neither one serious (apparently he has the luck of Matt Dillon) and he said his 14-year-old son wants to be there when the guy in the Mustang goes to trial. Well, I hope somebody also explains to that kid that his dad was wrong to be driving like he was. There was a child in that car ahead and that made his tail-gating even more serious. So there are always two sides to every story. What do you think? Of course the guy shouldn't have shot anyone. But if he was going to shoot anyone he should have made sure he had the right target in his sites and not somebody else - so he was really guilty. But so was the jerk who started the whole thing IMHO.
