Good morning all. You know, the good thing about procrastinating is that you always have something to do tomorrow but don't necessarily have to do anything today. Anyways, need to try to hem a couple of slacks if I can talk myself into doing it. One of the joys of being short. CL, I remember when my mama was in her 80's she would hem my Dad's trousers and the thread would not match the color of the pants. That drove me crazy. Whenever we went to Florida for a visit to them I would spend at least one day taking all those hems out and redoing them in the proper color. She said her eyesight wasn't as good as it used to be but it's funny how she could paint such beautiful paintings and couldn't match the colors of thread and pants. Mamas tend to be set in their ways once they get past 75. I only have 2 more years of compliancy to offer my kids and then I get to be as stubborn as I want, too. We always took her out to eat when we visited and we tried to get her to wait until at least around 1 PM since we knew this was the big meal of the day. And she said that would be fine with her but at 11:30 she was standing at the door with her purse in her hand and giving you that look that it was time. Yes, they can be so aggravating but I do miss my parents. Maybe we'll see them soon. As bad as this world is getting I can't imagine the Lord intervening soon. Well, yawl have a blessed day and I'm glad I did something right for a change on posting, RM. I don't get my feelings hurt easy. We have Scotties and you can shout their name and they won't even turn and look at you. It's like they're saying "I'll have my people get back to your people when it's convenient." But rattle a package of Cheetos and they are suddenly your best friend.
