I have been in and out running errands all day while also keeping an eye out for a coyote I saw on my property this morning while my inside dogs were barking. He may be after some rabbits that hang around my back yard.
A couple of years ago, there was a bobcat under my car one morning about daybreak when I went to take my 2 small dogs outside. At the time, I had a big American bulldog that had taken up residence here. He jerked the cat out from under the car and sent him flying - then took him out. It was a beautiful cat and I hated that the dog killed him but at the same time I was glad I didn't have to watch out for him around my small dogs. I believe he was after a rabbit dinner also. I guess the moral of this story is I need to get rid of the rabbits.
Do any of you have a "wildlife" story you wouldn't mind sharing?
