Bung, a china berry tree is a great shade tree, it can grow real big and makes the best shade in the summer time.It slso makes a big mess in the fall when it drops its berries and leaves. Folks wid a lawn don't want em cause they'd be hard to clean up in the fall. Back when I was a child, most country folks had dirt yards so cleanup was not a problem, just aggavating, I've got several big china berry trees in my yard now and wouldn't take nothing for the shade that they provide.
