Good morning. Always a surprise to me when I wake up for another day, too. But here I am. Getting ready to head for church to thank Him for that extra day. You won't hear me refer to the Lord as the Big Guy in the Sky. That sounds as if He's a beer drinking buddy or something. No, God is Holy, mighty, all-powerful, all-knowing and worthy of being spoken of in respectful tones at all times. I think Americans have more trouble seeing God as the King of Kings, since we have never had a king. It's one of my pet peeves when people trivialize God. He's nobody's co-pilot. He is always fully and completely in charge, like it or not. Well, sounds like I'm loaded for bear this morning. I did have a bit of a scary nightmare that had me put on my boxing gloves. But it's time to drink some coffee and get in a happy frame of mind. Hope we sing some of the good old hymns this morning. I do like some of the newer music but you can't be those old hymns.
