Re: ok, good morning
Good afternoon folks. I keep forgetting to post in the mornings since I got out of the habit. But here I am now. I’m not too worried about the eclipse. I see earthquakes, disease and famine as bigger threats in these end times. And there’s one place in the Bible where it talks about beasts in the streets. I think we already have that in a lot of cities and some of those beasts have two feet, not four. It’s a mess out there. I’m grateful to be out in a rural area but I imagine we’ll be seeing more of that in our own back yards in the future as food costs go even higher. I haven’t done a garden for years but I will be putting in some tomatoes and cucumbers this year. We have some good blueberry bushes already so we will hopefully have at least some fruits and veggies. No pleasure trips this year, we’ll be using all our money to stock up the freezer. Ingles had turkey breasts for $1.25 a pound. Might get some of those. Know of any other good sales anywhere? If you see anything good from the big grocery stores share it here so we can all benefit. A close friend of ours had a terrible bleed out from her colon after getting another Covid shot. She survived but it was a close call and she’s still having to be closely monitored. Think I’ll pass on any more shots. Well, let me think about something good. Oh, we had a delicious lunch at Senor Fiesta for just $30 including sweet tea, for both of us. Stan got some burritos and I got the Hawaiian Fiesta Fajita (chicken, onions, peppers, pineapple, lettuce, tomato, rice, tortilla, etc) for only $9.50. Brought half of it home since they gave me so much and it was absolutely delicious. CL they also have a vegetarian fajita very reasonable for lunch if you have any up your way. Well, it’s nap time. We worked on tilling this morning, ate big and now zzzzzz. Us old folks are only good for a few activities a day. Y’all have a blessed day.
