Hello all. Late again. But I am totally exhausted. Went to grandson’s graduation at North Georgia University in Dahlonega, GA. There were 600 graduates to walk and I thought they’d never get done. The seats were maybe a 1x and I have a 4x butt so you know I was sore after sitting through about four hours. Some cool stuff, though, was the National Anthym and the school song was sung by a quartet of white haired men who had done their ROTC time there many years ago. The graduates who were in the ROTC were also sworn in as 2nd lieutenants so there was some cool military protocol going on. All military veterans were asked to stand and the new guys saluted all the old guys in the stand. Made me tear up. There are still some great things about this country. Then we went to eat at one of those hibachi grills where the cook sets the grill on fire, tosses knives in the air and does thst volcano thingie. Not my favorite food but my grandson got to pick and at least it was fun to watch. Oh, and did I mention that it was storming with lightning and thunder when we got out of the college graduation. Fortunately we parked close with my handicap sticker so we didn’t have to walk as far as some but it was still rough on this old arthritic woman. Anyway I’m home now, I’ve taken some Tylenol and I don’t have anything scheduled for tomorrow so it will be a recovery day. Mercy, I need it. Oh, and no demonstrating going on at this college. The president even talked about the need for the graduates to find their God given purpose. Very encouraging. Glad I went but glad I’m home now. Y’all have a blessed night.
