Howdy folks. This reminds me of something funny going on at the Tucson Amtrak station. Right across the street from this depot they erected a 20 story apartment building. I mean, it's right across the street. Those trains come in tooting their horn and ringing bells to let the people at the station it's time to get ready. They blow a very loud warning horn after the cigarette smokers have had their 15 minutes of a fresh air break. Then they blow the horn three times when it's time to go. In the meantime, I imagine some of those people staying in that apartment are now wide awake. Other UP freight trains also come through their blowing their horn because there is a cross right up from the station and they have to give a four horn salute to warn cars they are coming. Now if you don't like the sound of trains and you moved into that apartment you are just now realizing that you made a big mistake. The louder and longer those Amtrak engineers hold that horn sound down the more we chuckle while watching it live on youtube. Most of the people moving in are apparently students at the University of Tucson. I guess that's their wake up call. Well, that's all I've got today. Hope y'all have a blessed day and stay well.
