Good morning all. CL we're sorta going through something similar with one of my sisters. Fortunately my brother-in-law left her very well off and she can go to assisted living but she absolutely does not want to leave her home. She says that she can still feel her husband Al there. She apparently has dome mild dementia issues. She has become very suspicious of her care givers and thinks they all want to rob her. While we could go along with her suspicions on the first couple of workers, it was getting old as each new one was just as crooked in her mind. So my other sisters have just about talked her into going into an assisted living place. Her accountant sat down with her and showed her that the home would be cheaper than paying for all the care givers she would need, plus she would have meals provided, a hair salon on the premises, trips on the bus to places, etc. Will she leave her house? I don't know but I hope so. It worries me about her going somewhere by herself and then getting lost. Of course, the same thing concerns me with Stan. Right now he drives to the dumpster once a week and to the Lions Club once every two weeks but nothing else. He suffers from a little confusion but not nearly as bad as my sister. I honestly think that God gives us these challenges as we age so it will be easier to let go of this world and embrace what He has waiting for us. Oh well, that's my take on it anyway. Y'all have a blessed day. What y'all fixing for supper? We had some Walmart fried chicken yesterday and have some left over. I'm making some mashed potatoes and baked apples to go with it.
