Good morning. been doing some fasting and praying here for the safety of family and friends in Florida. Has me concerned. The Apostle Paul said to be anxious for nothing but by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6-8). But two chapters before that he talks about how anxious he was when his buddy Epaphroditus got sick. So sometimes it's easier said than done even for the great ones, let alone this fat old grey-haired woman. Just doing some general cleaning around the Khrystal Palace today (okay so it's a 1400 sq ft ranch) and then I'm fixing some hot dogs and Uncle Ben's rice for supper. Nothing fancy but I'm a little worn out from having groomed all three dogs yesterday. The girls are easy to wash and groom but that Buddy Holly is bad to get all tangled u in briars, leaves, roots, etc. in his quest for moles. He gets that skirt all tangled and then he tries to pee and gets pee all over the skirt. It takes a bunch of soaking and soap and cream rinse to getting him clean and untangled and smelling like Sunday company. It's a long, thankless job. The dog hates it and Stan can't even smell it when Buddy stinks. He never got his sense of smell back after he got covid. But I can smell him and can't stand it when he gets like that. All the dog covers get washed today so they don't stink, too. If anyone visits and says that my house smells like dog, well, that's what happens when you have three dogs living in it. But their companionship and funny antics make it all worthwhile. I hope that God looks down on me and says, "Yeah, she's a lot of work but sometimes she says or does something funny and it makes it all worthwhile." I can always hope. Y'all have a blessed day.
