But the good news is that it's Friday! And not Friday the 13th. Good morning everybody. It was 43 degrees here this morning and I felt so good snuggled under those blankies. No appointments and no tacos for me today. Just your average day here. Finishing up yesterdays hamburger and still have some hotdogs to cook for Stan. Might do more serious cooking later. One of the dogs has a vet appointment tomorrow. Don't know why Stan made it for a Saturday - they are always covered up on Saturdays and I do not enjoy sitting in that waiting room with a scrappy little 23-lb terrier when folks bring in those pit bulls who look like they could eat my dog for breakfast. But she's due for her rabies so I guess we have to go. Any ideas for something I could cook tomorrow that will feed us for Sunday too so I don't have to cook on Sunday? Leaning toward something with chicken I think. Boy howdy, that Siesta Key and Sarasota area sure looks bad but those poor folks up in NC have still had it even worse. There are still some of them trapped in buildings from what I hear. And them somebody complained on Facebook that his area of Wyoming is on fire and it's never on the news. Apparently thousands of acres of woods are burning around The Big Horn Mountains from a lightning strike. But of course they blame that on global warming too. In the meantime Kamala goes on night time TV making jokes and looking totally stupid. Please dear Heavenly Father, spare us from that. I know this country has been pushing it's luck for a long time but spare us that. Y'all have a blessed day and whatever else you do, don't get a pit bull.
