Good morning all. I slept good for a change last night so now I'm ready to take on any challenges. As long as they don't require me to stand on my feet longer than 5 minutes. We worked out a system with groceries at our house. I back the car in the garage and lift up the back and it's real close to our mudroom door. Stan stands there and pulls out the groceries and walks about 5 steps to me waiting inside the door (just one step up) and hands them to me. Our freezer is in the garage right behind the car so he puts the frozen stuff out there. When I get the stuff inside, I put the items that go into the fridge on my computer chair and leave the pantry stuff out in the mudroom since we have a big pantry out there. When everything is inside, I roll that chair right over to the fridge, don't even have to carry it. We have perfected this technique because we are sure feeling our age. Fortunately we have a door between the mudroom and kitchen so the dogs are on the other side of the door while I put everything away that was in the mudroom. Our goofy old male dog likes to lift his leg on anything new that comes into the house so we make sure to get stuff off the floor in a hurry. He can't help it. He has a bit of dementia. We have to warn women not to leave their purses on the floor when they come. Unfortunately, he also pees on the legs of men he doesn't like so usually we try to usher that crazy dog outside when we have guests. Such is our life. My stomach is rumbling and it's not lunch time yet. I don't know why but my stomach has gotten very noisy lately. Wonder what that's a sign of. If it look it up on google I'll probably stay awake at night worrying about it. CL, you keep on those people at the nursing home. My brother and some of my cousins stay on the case of the one where my elderly aunt resides. They get good help and sorry help and their employee turnover is endless. From what I gather, the squeaky wheel gets oiled first. Threaten them with a federal inspection if it gets too bad. That's what they really fear most from what I understand. The feds can shut them down if things aren't right. Well, I've gotta figure out what happened to Stan's email. There's nothing there on the computer but he still has emails on his phone from the same yahoo account. Go figure. Somedays I hate computers. Stan is good at bumping something with a finger or thumb and getting everything out of whack. Then he looks at me like a lost puppy and asks me to make it right. Sometimes I can but I don't know about this one. Y'all have a blessed day.
