Boy howdy, everybody is talking about the winter weather headed our way. I like snow but never been a big fan of ice. Son is working on our generator today, fine tuning it in case it’s needed. We have lots of wood for our wood stove, some new lights, milk cartons filled with water for flushing and lots of bottled water. I have some canned soup if needed and my daughter gave me an indoor cook stove of some kind especially for making s’mores at parties but also safe for other stuff. I switched out from satin to flannel sheets today. And I confess I did not hang the old sheets out because it was just too windy for my poor little body to bear. My granddaughter will be on the radio at 6 pm on glory 97.5 playing basketball for the North Hall Trojans. To say she is competetive is putting it lightly. She’s down right combative when it comes to any kind of game. She had to sit out after 5 fouls on her last game. She didn’t get that from me. I might not have made any great sporting records but I was always polite and considerate. This kid is out for blood. She’s #10 if you listen. Feeling blessed even if I am old and married to an old curmudgeon. It could always be worse folks. What if we lived in Minnesota?
