I think that everything said was very reasonable. However, think about this, what if you were to write a killer post title? I ain't saying your content isn't good, however suppose you added something to maybe grab folk's attention? I mean The Whackos: Re: happy friday yall is a little boring. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create post titles to get people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
