Okay, I was just able to add additional storage by replacing an unused shower (we converted the old bathtub into a nice walk in shower) into a kitchen pantry on one side and linen closet behind it. Carpenter did a great job. He also put new flooring in our mud room and kitchen. So I had six large boxes of stuff taken out before the job was done. I have put the stuff back from 3 1/2 of the boxes and have run out of room. How did that happen? Son tells me I need to purge the stuff I don’t use. I didn’t tell him, but the majority of that extra stuff was given to us as Christmas presents by him and his siblings, I have 3 foot soakers, a facial sauna thing that I don’t have a clue how to work and a bunch of fancy bowls and containers. Also, I have a big rice maker, a crock pot and an InstantPot. The InstantPot will do all those things. Then there’s the Air Fryer, the Blender and the food processor, not to mention Foreman grill, waffle maker, the list goes on. Where do y’all store that kind of stuff? Did Julia Child have to deal with this? As Emeril would say, Bam!
