Typhoon Hester"
I was there that night. In fact the bakery was closed down for the night and the crew had all headed to their hooches. I was laying in bed when I heard what I thought was a freight train coming through. I remember laying on my back, and one minute the roof was there and the next minute it was raining on my face and the roof was gone. I grabbed the puppys that were at the end of my bed and headed for the bakery. I remenber getting on the fork lift and packing pallets of flour and suger in a square inside the bakery. I also remember that the hooch that was our office for the bakery blew off its foundation and ended up at the bottom of the hill. We had no warning what so ever. I also remember seeing pieces of tin roofing flying around like paper.
