Hello Willaim R rush Shipmates. I am William H McMillian Jr. My Father was a member of Tin Can Sailors and the William R Rush DD-714 Association. It is with deep regret that I must inform you of his passing. He Died at 5:40 pm Yesterday on the same date as his wedding anniversary 5/18/2014.
He was all Navy and Proud of it, I thank God For people like him and all of you Tin Can Sailors and All Navy members for keeping our Country safe and free.
