My father, Jonathan Nyce Jr., passed away today, 2/17/2018, after experiencing chest pain and going to the hospital. He was in the US Navy during WWII, in the pacific. And then he was aboard the William R. Rush during the months up to its trial run and commissioning, as a machinist. He is survived by his wife, Emma, and four sons.
