I skimmed through this article, I can see the sentiment is noble. It's also an example of a real problem though: Jews are seen and often see themselves as especially qualified to pronounce on what's happening in Palestine and what the future will or should be. Why should Jews have this qualification? Because they are brothers of the Palestinians? Because Israel is their homeland? It's actually based for me on a racist narrative, connected with "chooseness", perhaps, and feeding off the memory of past crimes against Jews; and a rabbit out of a hat: that "Israel" is the Jewish homeland. But it contributes to the vilification of supporters of the suffering and oppressed as "anti-semites" - a sneaky and effective narrative. Its effectiveness partly perhaps because countering it may involve interrogating some dogmas within Judaism itself (secular, religious, whatever); And that it's impossible (or, stupid) to deny Jews have as much right as anyone to have any opinion on anything.
