And if you do want to make a big issue out of Cuba: yes, they have a great health system which is what other countries should emulate. They've had very few covid deaths and infections, and can treat sick people far better. However, you may notice that the same low death rates go for Haiti and Jamaica. I suspect their health services are not really that great and that mask wearing has been pretty lax. It seems more likely that other factors (eg amount of sunshine to boost immune systems) plays a far bigger role than eg masks. And that Cuba chooses to go for masks, can be a case of being influenced what China did (mask wearing is very common in the Far East). Even Cuban doctors are not infallible.
