Secular vs Religious
"Having been born in original sin it was hardly capable of changing itself when it approached adulthood" Hmmm perhaps almost uniquely in this regard Israel needs must "change itself" for it is in the nature of the Jewish experience that outside influences, which may be interpreted as threats to Israeli sovereignty, become ineffective once they encounter the levees that are Israel's bulwark against the "goy-experience".. Labour accused of anti-semitism? The Labour Party would have fared far better if it had kept secular republicanism at the heart of its politics, certainly it must not throw stones at Israel whilst the legacy of the union is still effective....but if you're Muslim don't even dream of installing a head of state who is also the head of a religious institution...
