Yes, but even if that that was true (they had 'better' software that looked rubbish) you'd think for the presentation and website they would run it through a visually more realistic looking software as well and whack both videos up, seeing as how it's such contentious topic - and just so no-one could make the arguments west is making - but the doesn't prove it's not all sound of course (bit of a comms error though).
But as I understand it (badly no doubt) there seems to be a fundamental difference between a static analysis (linear equations) and dynamic (non-linear, with feedback), which seems to be indicated in the graphics (and in some of the text). I bow to your engineering knowledge (I can barely put up shelves (can build software though)), but don't feel obliged to deep dive for me - I'll amble my way round some sources given time (some good sources around the topic you think I might get something from are always appreciated)
