Clearly we were watching different programmes Ken. Neil was his usual cocksure self as he trotted out the patter he had carefully rehearsed. It was only when Nels Abbey ambushed him out of he blue that he lost his composure and was plainly rattled by the attack. He was so near the edge in fact that he very nearly lost his temper, to the point where he was blustering about "you've only just met me yet you think you know me!"
I've never met Andrew Neil yet I know him and his views because I've been watching him for 40 years or more. This response only goes to show that Neil was deeply and horribly shocked and didn't know how to counter Nels Abbey's views.
