'Insulate Britain has always ensured that Ambulances and Fire Engines are able to pass and will continue to do so'
[two vids of protesters moving out the way to allow ambulances through]
Don't know why that apparently wasn't the case in the above vid. Maybe it was stuck further back?
Comments almost totally negative, abusive or threatening, including this charming exchange:
I donít get why that golf doesnít tailgate the ambulance car, thatís what Iíd do
Linus the cat @Linusthecat2
Because tailgating is illegal and in poor taste. However Iím all for running over the insulation folks, let them wait for a bloody ambulance for 5 hours in the rain Grinning face with smiling eyes
I know, would back off once through the protest line of course'
Shows how dangerous it is for pedestrians or cyclists to confront motorists. People get a psychotic sense of entitlement and their own power & importance when behind the wheel of a vehicle, and the rage flashes hot & fast against anyone causing the slightest inconvenience. Something about being contained in a protective metal box turns people into maniacs, saying and doing things they would never think of doing face to face on the same level with another human being. If they haven't got enough time to cool down after jumping out to confront protestors, I can imagine some people getting seriously assaulted & injured...
