I've also found that the people who are involved with Julian Assange events are well genned-up on issues such as Palestine, Syria, Libya etc. I think it's because the liberal-pseudo-left groups aren't involved.
One group that usually supports Assange events is the Inminds group. Inminds is one of the main supporters of the Al-Quds rally. A date for everyone's diary: 24 April
