In a L'Boat thread in March re Russia Ukraine and DU initiated by Gerard noone actually mentions that the US fired 10,000 DU rounds at civilian areas in 2003.
That thread also dismissed or seriously downplayed the long-term health effects of DU - quoting US military sources(!).

So why not reactivate your possibly depleted knowledge with these articles:
