Completely agree with the second paragraph and most of the first. The fraudian only started having a regular "late night hosts" segment to round up all their propaganda giggles when Trump got in. Now they still have it now and again but now a Dem is in the big chair, the late night hosts are not the supreme oracles they once made them out to be.

I think Morrisey is calling him unfunny from a purely personal comedic standpoint. As you say in your 2nd graph, these people appeal to a large audience and make them laugh which lets the insidious propaganda message go down unoticed.

As Jimmy Dore noted, Noah has the technical aspects of comedy (delivery, timing, intonation, etc.) down pat but it's his material that is utterly devoid of edge.
