'3.1.1. General Overview
It is estimated that approximately (b) (4) doses of BNT162b2 were shipped worldwide
from the receipt of the first temporary authorisation for emergency supply on 01 December
2020 through 28 February 2021' - https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf (p.6)
I searched the doc to see what this '(b) (4)' designation meant but there wasn't a key or other explanation anywhere, just another couple of apparent redactions about info relating to Pfizer's employees and resources available to them.
Looking at a few 'fact-check' pages on this - most of them from corporate media or affiliated to them, it must be admitted - they make the point that adverse effects and fatalities aren't necessarily related to the vaccine but could be pre-existing or unrelated conditions. It also depends on VAERS-type voluntary reporting of symptoms which are not verified as related to the vaccine (though there also exists the possibility of under-reporting). Eg this from newsweek which puts the total number in the 'billions':
'The report states that of the billions of vaccines shipped worldwide between December 1, 2020, and February 28, 2021, there were 42,086 reported reactions.
These included those who had fully recovered or are recovering from COVID, those who recovered but were still experiencing some symptoms, those not recovered at the time of the report, and the 1,223 who are listed as "fatal."
The 1,223 fatalities listed in the report are among 158,893 adverse effects reports from health officials from across the world. The cause of each fatality is not verified and therefore may also include those who had "various illnesses" such as cancer or cardiovascular disease, Pfizer spokeswoman Dervila Keane told AFP.
Elsewhere in the so-called "Pfizer documents" being misinterpreted online, the report concluded that the data does not reveal "any novel safety concerns or risks requiring label changes" and supports a "favorable benefit risk profile" for the vaccine.' - https://www.newsweek.com/pfizer-documents-vaccine-deaths-1703869
42K adverse reactions and 1,223 fatalities out of 'billions' of doses would indeed be a small percentage and support the document's conclusion of a 'favorable benefit: risk balance for [the Pfizer vaccine]' (p.29 ibid.) even if it wouldn't support reassuring or self-serving claims of 100% safety & efficacy being made by politicians & big pharma execs at the time. Unfortunately we only have Newsweek's word for it until Pfizer see fit to confirm the total amount of doses they've drawn this data from.
