-What an idiot...Crimea is long done and dusted: there's no boast in that to take to anyone. Its all about the Donbas and the Black sea.

Otherwise I think the Russians don't give a shit about the perfidious US & Europe any more. It really is Russia moving deliberately towards the "Great uncoupling".
Finland and Sweden can tool up all they want: they will be impoverishing themselves for nothing. Russia will take the intitial hit for Mother Russia and Western sanctions will act contrarily as a form of protectionism for Russia: encouraging the local economy in the long term: much as the last ones did.

-Maybe NATO has what it wants out of this situation but Russia will have what it needs.
