I think I looked at about 100 comments and they all condemn Graham for dissing Pat. Quite rightly! Nobody seems to know where this animus comes from.

Although Pat is an amateur, one of the great things he does is that he talks to locals and provides translated subtitles. He then keeps the camera running and goes to the next person and does it again. I think this provides an effect of immediacy and that 'rawness' is invaluable.

Patrick Lancaster and his wife were literally handing out food and medicine to civilians, including meat which they said they haven't had in 2 months. If you watch Patrick's videos all the way through, you can see he cares and is really trying to help people. Yeah, he's overly excited at times, but that's because he's surrounded by dead bodies and destruction in almost every video!

Patrick has gone to the next level, period. His work is wildly shared and the views are up compared to your channel. PL has been an incredible eye-opener for a lot of people. Seems you are getting more or less destroyed by many of your own followers here in the comments section, so this was probably not the smartest thing to do.

I always thought Patrick was saying like and subscribe a bit too much. But apart from that he's been producing quality reporting. It's clear that he cares about the people of Donbas. It left a bad taste in my mouth when you dissed him. You guys need to be working together.

I don't really care if the dude is asking for a bit of money compensation when the guy tries to bring actual unfiltered news even if he has to go through a firefight. It's not like he's a stupid social media influencer who's surfing on the Ukrainian conflict to promote their merch in the comfort of their home thousands of kilometers away from the actual danger. The dude is actually there, reporting on the frontlines, giving the civilians a voice and offering help while showing us the reality of the situation that mainstream medias certainly won't. What's there to dislike about this ?

Whether Patrick is doing what he does for money or not doesn't matter much to me because he is showing what is happening over there and giving the people a voice that would never be heard otherwise. I've been following both of you for years.

Graham seems to be in general an offputting aggressive person. I like the reports but actually prefer Patrick's reports. Anybody who has moved to Donbass and started a family in the area certainly deserves to be supported now. Grahams confrontational attitude is a problem and clashes with Patricks.

We need more balanced reporting such as what you're providing, but to discredit and disrespect another reporter who is also trying to get truth out ( and is actually there in the danger zone, by the way ) reflects very poorly upon you. This sort of envious, belittling move only discredits yourself. So what if Patrick is attempting to make a living, are you not? Mark me disappointed.

Please, Graham. Stop dissing Patrick Lancaster! Your one-sided criticism of him is pointless, and it certainly won't make you look any better. On the contrary. Both of you do EXCELLENT work and both of you deserve admiration. Remember what that good old solidarity was all about? People who complement each other! You are a great guy. Please consider having a cup of coffee with Patrick. You complement each other so well that it will probably be an inspiring conversation. Put it on video and post it. It will make a lot of your fans happy!
