I have to agree with Keith
I mean talk about naive! Not only did Corbyn not have the gumption to know what Ashworth was like (and his horrible missus), but in the thread above he's reported as saying he should have looked closer at Starmer's history -- for fek's sake, Starmer ratted on Assange (well before the period Corbyn was leader, if I remember right). That alone should have been enough to indicate in neon lights ten feet tall what a fake lefty and out-and-out establishment stooge Starmer was. It's almost as if Corbyn had a death wish and was deliberately choosing people he knew would betray him, not seeing through their paper-thin facade of friendship and support. I mean, all those years in politics and he learned nothing? Couldn't read anyone's character? Lacked all skills at judging people? A man plainly unfitted to the task. Unfortunately.
