There's maybe something in that in the vernacular sense (eg when we might say 'that bus was late - bloody fascists'), but it can be overstated too, for obvious reasons, by the usual suspects. Fascism is nebulous at best which doesn't help - but sometimes, it's almost as if we have to wait for people with swastikas tatooed on their faces to actually be setting up death camps before we're allowed to say it's fascist/or even fash-adjacent. If we can't call it out earlier it may be too late. If walks like a fascist and squawks like a fascist, it's probably a fascist (ok, 'palingenetic ultranationalist' if we must).
