Ditto: are some of your "favourite" TV presenters, expert guests, journalists really CIA spooks, place-men/women?

Why is this post even framed as a question of the 'Is the Pope Catholic?" kind ?

Thank God that most dissidents' all-time favourite academic Noam Chomsky is above suspicion though, right?
He's been tolerated and allowed to write and speak freely and paid handsomely by establishment / military-industrial MIT for 60-odd years because....??

And although his official specialty is linguistics almost noone of the alternative media/dissident persuasion has ever seen or heard him lecture on that subject - and most of us don't want to.

How many other professors are known almost exclusively for their books, lectures, interviews
dedicated to geopolitics, the media, propaganda - but whose official or ostensible academic specialty is barely or only tenuously related to the subject and issues that they've dedicated most of their time, energy and lives to ?
