On the way out of this fix he says:

"the US and EU would scrap outmoded policy, taxation and siting barriers that have hindered the buildout of the massive volumes of solar and wind power"

So solar and wind will save us... but no mention of the new sanctions against China: worlds biggest producer of wind turbines and solar panels. Nor the outright ban on anything from Xinyang province on the trumped up allegations of a Uighur genocide...which just happens to be where most of the worlds solar materials originate.
