Course our representatives would rather focus on this than do something real in terms of equality: both health and wealth, for the majority of the population which would after all, cost money.
So... we get instead a diversion into meaningless cul-de-sac of identity issues, moral posturing and legislative tokenism which is not only ill thought out but lacks even a modicum of rationality.
