..and what a contrast to the Iraq War/Lies and record protests 20+ years ago when - what's more - we had no Youtube(founded 2005) and most of us had to get up off our backsides and traipse to internet cafes and libraries in all weathers to binge-watch Democracy Now 2-3 times a week just to stay sane.

Now, despite having 24/7 web and Youtube access on their sci-fi mobile phones, most Brits(Europeans, Americans, humans..) just can't be bothered to spend buzz-killing time and energy getting any serious independent geopolitical web-research done.

Your comments pete-g are spot on and eloquent of course - but like almost all humans you avoid criticizing the BS-enabling elephants in the room - the ordinary Brits/humans in their comfy armchairs who still just switch on their TVs - initially usually to watch something "entertaining" and see familiar faces - and end up still glued to the box and to their sofas when the "news" and Newsnight and Koolaid are served up.
