I still find it hard to accept that, even the imperial rulers in Washington, would be reckless and stupid enough to actually start fighting Russia and China, at the same time. Two huge wars on other ends of the planet! Didn't strategists alwasy warn about the inherent logistical and strategic problems inherent in fighting 'two front' wars?

This would be like imperial Athens launching two Peloponnesian campaigns at the same time at different ends of the Mediterranean. Even they weren't daft enough to do that.
