Shriff seems to be a hard-nosed US market follower and currently a gold-bug. He is in da business etc. I think GD and AM had a different agenda - extracting the geopolitical economic ideas. He only got as far as .. China will divest from the US securities and invest in something tangible and something they need. Now, the answer to that question - not a peep. Man, giz the answer to that! . Meanwhile, interesting to see the minutiae of the 'free' market thinking etc. Not Hudson, but indicative.

The one thing I did like is that he stated that that term 'Quantative Easing' is euphemism for government forcing an inflationary policy and making up a nice word to cover their tracks. Kind of Orwellian, but it works.
