Similar to journalism and the wider media, typified by the Guardian and the New York Times; increasingly, the state is taking over education and academia, too, with 'science' having to bow to state demands and perspectives. This is... worrying. The clampdown on dissent or even examination of state actions, is deepening and spreading throughout society.
